Performance-Calculation Methodology

1. Documented, not verified
Seven01 results are documented, time-stamped records of published setups. They are not independently verified unless a qualified third party has examined and verified the records, in which case that verification is stated explicitly. The word "verified" is not used unless such independent verification has occurred.
2. What is recorded
Each documented result records:
- Original setup-release date and time.
- Ticker and direction.
- Published entry or entry parameters.
- Published +1% profit target.
- Published −3% stop loss.
- 9:29 AM ET latest time exit.
- Exit price and time.
- Final percentage result.
- Whether the target, stop, or time exit ended the setup.
- Original pre-entry setup image.
- Any correction history.
3. Outcome classification
A setup is classified as Target Hit when the published +1% target is reached before the published −3% stop. A setup is classified as Stop Hit when the published stop is reached before the target. A setup is classified as Time Exit when neither the target nor the stop is reached by 9:29 AM ET and the position is exited by the latest time exit.
4. Percentage calculation
For LONG setups, the percentage result is calculated as (exit price − entry price) / entry price × 100. For SHORT setups, the percentage result is calculated as (entry price − exit price) / entry price × 100. The published entry price is the reference price recorded at publication time.
5. Gross vs. net
Results are presented gross of estimated commissions, fees, and slippage unless explicitly stated otherwise on the result page. Individual member results will vary based on execution, fills, slippage, and commissions.
6. No deleted losses
Winning trades, losing trades, canceled setups, and no-trade mornings are all published. Losing results are never deleted. Selective performance periods that exclude losing trades are never presented.
7. Separation of result categories
Model results, hypothetical results, and the founder's personal brokerage results are never mixed with documented published setup results. If any such category is ever displayed, it is labeled separately and clearly distinguished from the documented record.
8. Corrections
Once a setup is published, the original values and timestamp are preserved in an immutable audit record. Corrections are appended with the original information, the corrected information, the reason for correction, the correction timestamp, and the administrator making the correction. Original setups are never silently edited or overwritten.
